Test Pattern
SAT test is offered 7 times annually and a candidate can take the SAT exam as many times as they want. The College Board assesses only those skills which students have learned in their schools. Their test pattern is created in a way to assess the skills that are required for the academic success of the students in college.
There are 4 sections or say part in an SAT Test:

The total time duration to take the test is 3 hours and 45 minutes and the total score range required for admission in any college/university is 400-1600 points.
